The course is designed as per Civil Aviation Authority, Sri Lanka ( CAASL) CAT A 1 syllabus and is considered a preliminary entry point to aircraft maintenance.   • Sri Lankan Nationals - Minimum of 6 Credit passes at G.C.E (O/L) - including Credit passes for Science & Mathematics or an equivalent educational qualification in one sitting and a credit in English in not more than two sittings Age between 17-24 years Fluency in English , Non - Sri Lankan Nationals - 6 Credit passes in G C E O/L or an equivalent qualification including credit passes for science, Maths and English. AVIATION LEGISLATION. Sri Lankan Aviation College

Aviation Legislation Training courses are available with and without examination. The airline quality assurance auditors, certifying and support staffs are required to enrol for the training with examination. The other applicable staff shall undertake the training without examination. Depending on the composition of the group of trainees, the depth and illustrations during the training will be adjusted to meet the particular nature of their work.
